Our Alitherm 400 X window system uses an external glazing bead to maximise the glass area of your window, giving uninterrupted views.
Although not necessary, additional glazing security clips can be added for extra security as part of the PAS24 upgrade.
French windows incorporate a floating / flying mullion. This is useful when a fire escape is required, and the overall window width doesn’t allow a single opener to achieve the required 450mm clear width opening. By opening both windows, this can be achieved. When selecting your style, the “S” symbolises the secondary opening window. Please note that all our products are displayed externally.

This improves heat retention, reduces condensation, and provides insulation against external noise and weather.
As trickle ventilation has been a requirement since 2022, Our window systems offer these to be fitted within a 42mm frame add-on, situated on top of the window frame with colour matched compliant trickle vents.
